Jessica Burkey

Jess has over 12 years of experience in the rope access industry, working as an IRATA Level 3 Safety Supervisor on a wide variety of projects including the installation, examination and testing of a range of EN795 safety systems.

With a BSc in Disaster Management and a stint in the Fire Service Jess has always had a strong interest in prioritising Health and Safety in the workplace.

As well as organising large charity cycling events in her spare time, like most of the Safety Aloft team, Jess is also a keen cave explorer with many years of experience in the UK and abroad.

Jess joined the Safety Aloft team in 2024 and has since gained significant knowledge and experience in delivering specialist working aloft training courses, helping develop vessel specific SOPs and advising on the most suitable equipment for the particular working aloft activity.
